This is the Plywood Gator in Orange color. The Plywood Gator is a clamp that is designed to hold the cut you make in Plywood or any sheet good. After you start your cut and go about 12 inches you attach the Plywood Gator. The Plywood Gator will then support your cut piece for you while you put both hands on the saw and concentrate on making a straight and safe cut. Since the cut piece will no longer droop, you do not need to worry about binding the saw blade and causing a kick back. When you get to the last few inches of your cut, you can stop and support the cut with the hand not operating the saw. Then continue the cut all the way through. Since you were able to hold the cut piece it did not fall and tear out the corner of the material or hit the floor and cause damage.
